Sugar with a hint of color and the scent of vanilla. The perfect addition to any recipe, plus a great way to use up an old vanilla bean.
Be sure the used vanilla bean sits out overnight to dry .
Put two cups of sugar and the vanilla bean in a food processor and blend for a couple minutes until the bean is in small chunks. You can remove the bean pieces and throw them or you can let it sit with the sugar until you use it.
Add the sugar to recipes, to coffee, or as a topping. It makes a great addition and of course helps your leftover beans not go to waste.
Enjoy!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. I was wondering what might be a good use for my used vanilla beans. Now I know, yay!
