The perfect, healthier side kick for your burger. Sure beats deep frying your French fries!
Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
Clean the potatoes under cold water with a brush (just to get the dirt off).
Cut the potatoes lengthwise and then into thin strips or wedges.
Drizzle them with olive oil, sea salt and toss. Arrange them in a single layer on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 30 minutes. After that, they should be fork tender. Then turn on your broiler and cook them under the broiler for 5-7 minutes to get good and crispy.
When they come out of the oven, you can sprinkle some seasoning salt, pepper, anything you want really. You could do rosemary and olive oil, minced garlic and Parmesan cheese. The possibilities are endless!

I make something really similar to this. The only things I do differently is spray them with cooking spray instead of drizzling with olive oil. I also sprinkle on some creole seasoning before baking. They are a great, easy side dish, and much better than fried potatoes! I’m going to try it your way next time!
