Description

Quick, easy, delicious sausage balls that anyone can make in a pinch.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 Oz. Package) Mild Or Hot Sausage (usually Use Tennessee Pride)
  • 2 cups Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
  • 3 cups Bisquick

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a large bowl, mix all 3 ingredients by hand. Roll into balls about the size of golf balls. Place on a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan about 1 inch apart. Bake for 15 – 18 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and place on paper towels to remove excess grease.

These were ok, but not my favorite. There was a lot of bisquick so they actually turn out to be little biscuit calls with the sausage and cheese flavor. Will probably try again and just half the bisquick amount.

This is the quintessential sausage ball recipe. I grew up with my grandmother making these for a special treat and I continue to make them for my family and friends. Great snack for gatherings!

I love this sausage ball recipe. They are not as greasy as some I have made.
