Sausage and Carrots
Scrub carrots clean, cut off tops, and cut into about 1/2″ rounds then put them to the side for a moment.
Chop onion into very small pieces.
Get out a small to medium pot (it needs to be big enough to hold all of the ingredients), turn heat onto medium, melt butter and add onions and sausage. Cook for about 5 minutes. Then add carrots, seasonings, and 1/2 cup of chicken stock. Put lid on and let it simmer for about 30 to 45 minutes until carrots are tender.
