I don’t always have cake flour in my pantry, but this recipe works very, very well as a substitution for cake flour!
Simply place 1 tablespoon corn starch in a measuring cup and fill the remainder with flour. Level and sift.
This is a perfect substitution for cake flour!

This is terrific in quick breads. It helps them rise up higher and poofier. No reason not to use it since it’s so cheap and convenient to make it this way on your own. Thanks!

Thanks for this recipe….I never had any idea what the difference was, but I hate when I am ALWAYS running out of cake flour!
