My sister makes this killer high flavor hummus for all family gatherings. Yum! Creamy and lovely (if you are a
hummus lover of the chunky variety, keep moving along).
Combine first 5 ingredients in a food processor and blend into a smooth paste. Add garbanzo beans and ¼ cup water and if you want to give your hummus a little kick, add 4 sundried tomatoes or olives, etc. (optional). I like my hummus plain.
Process until mixture has a consistent texture; add additional water until smooth. Allow mixture to process for 2 full minutes (this is a key step!). Let sit for 4 hours; adjust taste by mixing in additional lemon juice or salt as needed.

I love this recipe. I can never get my hummus to be super smooth, the trick was the extra water and pureeing it for 2 minutes.
