This chunky and creamy dip makes a wonderful and elegant appetizer and pairs nicely with apples, pears, crackers and wine.
Mix mascarpone cheese and sour cream together until creamy. Stir in salt, pepper and chopped chives and mix thoroughly. Add cumbled gorgonzola and stir lightly, leaving dip to be chunky.
Serve chilled with fresh apple and pear slices, crackers and wine. Lots and lots of wine.
