Just your basic dumpling recipe – great with my recipe for Chicken Fricot!
(You can add some of your favourite herbs to this recipe.)
Combine flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
Slowly add cold water, mixing gently.
Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the fricot during the last 10 minutes of simmer time. These expand a fair bit, so you may want to test different amounts until you find one you prefer. I tend to use a scant tablespoon.

I made a vegetarian fricot (no chicken) and used this dumpling recipe for it. They came out fluffy and absolutely perfect!
