Whether you are a hiker or not, this trail mix recipe is sure to satisfy your sweet/salty cravings! Best of all, use the nuts and dried fruits you prefer to make it your own…although this recipe may become your own! Trail mix is delicious with yogurt!
Place all ingredients into a bowl and stir to mix.
Notes:
1. Feel free to add raisins, dried cranberries, apricots or any other dried fruits.
2. For the freeze dried fruits: Crispy fruit is available at Whole Foods. A larger 3 1/2 ounce bag contains six 15 gram bags inside. Your local grocer may carry other freeze-dried fruits, too.
