A sweet and savory traditional Minnesotan corn side dish with crispy topping that with be the highlight of any meal!
Slightly beat eggs, then mix in the sugar, salt, pepper and milk. Combine corn, egg mixture and onion and gently stir. Fold in bread. Add mixture to buttered baking dish, set aside.
In separate bowl, mix cereal and melted butter. Spread an even layer over the corn, egg and bread mixture.
Bake at 350ºF for 1 1/2 hours. Allow to rest 15 minutes before serving.
Note: If only doing half a recipe, reduce the cook time to 45–60 minutes.
