Fried Potatoes = A Southern Staple.
Put a little vegetable or canola oil in an electric skillet or frying pan.
Add potatoes, salt, pepper, garlic, and a little Cavenders.
Then cook it with the lid on, flipping the potatoes and moving them around every few minutes or so, just to make sure they don’t burn.
They’re done when soft and a few of them are breaking up.

And onion. Don’t forget the onion. Grandma can get me to do just about anything for her pan fried taters. My all-time favorite comfort food.
