Description

This is a recipe for a basic hummus. It is delicious!!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Tahini
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Chickpeas, Drained
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • ¼ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon Cumin
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Water

Preparation

Put all of the ingredients together in the bowl of a food processor and blend well. It’s ready to eat immediately! Serve with pita chips or vegetables, or use for a sandwich spread.

Delicious and totally addictive! Made one batch and almost finished it off all by myself the first day. Made it again the next day to take to a friend’s house and it was inhaled immediately! I will say I thought it was creamier when I blended it with an immersion blender vs a food processor but yummy either way!
