A guaranteed crowd pleaser, this easy and versatile salsa can be modified to suit any taste. My man gets demands for this whenever there’s a party at his workplace, and he always brings home an empty bowl.
If you’ve got tupperware or something similar, this is very easy to make. Dump everything into a bowl, put the lid on, and shake it up. Make sure that there aren’t any dry clumps of seasonings anywhere. Otherwise, just mix the lime juice and seasonings in one small bowl, and then add them to the veggies in a larger bowl and stir to mix well.
Cover and chill about an hour, serve.
We usually just eat this as a dip with tortilla chips, but I have also made it to serve over grilled chicken on a bed of rice, or wrapped up with grilled shrimp in a leaf of lettuce.
Personally, this recipe is perfect for me as I’m not fond of very spicy food. However, if you’re more adventurous, this is easily modified. Substitute cilantro for the parsley, cayenne for the black pepper, or the juice from a jar of jalapenos for the lime juice. Stir in some chopped fresh jalapenos or your other favorite pepper, and maybe some raw onion.
Some may also enjoy a sprinkling of kosher salt to taste.

Excellent, glad you like it! (I could go for a bowl of it right now, myself, hmmm….)

Absolutely delicious! And a huge crowd favorite. I’ve now brought it to two different parties and both times came back with the bowl practically licked clean. This is definitely a keeper recipe!!!
I inadvertantly gave it 4 mitts when I meant to give it 5. I’m going to try and fix that – until then, just know that I give this the top rating!
