My family has these noodles at every get-together. It’s a recipe that has been handed down for generations and is the only thing I would eat as a child.
Mix all ingredients together, adding more flour if needed. Roll out thin and let dry for several hours until it is dry enough to fold and cut into strips. Cut strips, drop noodles into boiling broth of your choice, and cook until done.
Note: the slower they are cooked, the better they taste. Also, you may only need between 1 and 2 tablespoons of butter. This is because my great grandmother didn’t write down recipes. She had them in her head, so we had to watch her make them to be able to pass on the recipes.
