Easy Asparagus!
Break off the ends of the asparagus and throw them away. Spread the asparagus out on a baking pan and drizzle with olive oil. Turn to coat.
Roast in a 500 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. More or less depending on the thickness of the stalks. Salt and pepper to taste.

This is my favorite way to make asparagus! Steaming it is so blah but the roasting really brings out the flavor. I always experiment with spices and herbs depending on my main course.
