Wonderful potatoes in a white cream sauce.
Melt 4 Tablespoons of butter or margarine in a large saucepan. Add flour, salt, then slowly add milk. Whisk together until flour is dissolved. Continue stirring until sauce starts to thicken. Add sliced potatoes, bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour into a 9×13 greased baking dish. Dot with remaining butter (I usually add more!). Bake at 350F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
