It made plenty of “cakes.” They come out of the pan very much like latkes, and are delicious. The suggestion of parmesan is a good one, and may I add they are excellent on a salad of arugula. The only reason they do not get 5 mitts is that the time is kind of off. I guess if you already have all the ingredients laid out, maybe, but even so, I could not get them all fried in 15 minutes if you paid me.
