I have had to make it with a light beer but I prefer the richness a dark beer adds. My hubby, 9 year old, and teenager all enjoy it. I use Serrano and jalapeño peppers. I have always been unsure of what “chili sauce” to use and I always have sriracha so that is what I use. I serve it with a dollop of sour cream and a little cilantro.
