This is amazing-- I've always loved the magic of just throwing lots of ingredients in the crock-pot and 8 hours later having a fabulous meal! This is SO good, and husbands love it because it is thick and hearty...I added some cayenne for kick.

This soup is amazing! In fact, we had it for dinner tonight. I got this recipe from a friend who made it for me after my second baby was born. She added 2 cups of brown rice making for a hearty meal with almost not prep. Awesome!

This is a great "fix it and forget it" recipe that I threw in the crockpot before class and came home to a tasty dinner! I added kidney beans and substituted the 4oz of green chiles with a bottle of green chile/tomato sauce from the Mexican aisle. Shredding a rotisserie chicken and adding it an hour before dinner made this even easier. I definitely recommend fixing some rice and pouring the soup on top, as well as adding sour cream and guacamole- the soup has some kick to it and I had to tone it down. So good!

Fabulous!!! I added a can of kidney beans (in addition to the black beans) for a little more bulk and used fresh roasted Hatch green chilies. Ohhhhhhh yeah! One thing that I loved was mixing in the guacamole and sour cream in my soup....gave it an amazing flavor and texture. My son on the other hand wouldn't touch it that way, so all of that type of stuff was on the side and the family could add what they liked. This recipe will definitely go into my forever file! Thanks!!
