		<description><![CDATA[First, I do not believe the directions for this soup are complete. You NEED to rinse the lentils. I usually do- because recipes instruct to do so- but went ahead with this recipe as directed and got a nasty scum onto of the soup that had to be spooned off. Also, to get something that resembles the picture you would have to blend it. Even then its hard for me to believe the picture is actually of THIS soup because mine was nowhere near this color.
My second issue- it just does NOT taste good. One of the blandest, most un-flavorful soups I have ever had. 
I love red lentil soups and was really excited to find a very simple, quick recipe to make one. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment and I will never make this again.]]></description>
