I didn’t include the kale, so I included the garlic with the other vegetables. The addition of tomato paste made the broth just the right consistency. I also thought I didn’t need those extra 2 cups of broth, but it turned out a little too tangy and spicy (from the red pepper flakes I added) without them. I should have listened to you!
All in all, a delicious fall soup. Thank you!
