Oh my heck – I’m sure I’ll try the recipe soon, but I’m adding it to my recipe box for the bowl alone! Lol…that’s my most favorite pattern – and I only have a few pieces.

The word “lemony” in the title just grabbed me. I do love lentil soup or stew but I am thinking that the lemon will really take it to the next level in flavor.

Crazylalalulu,

I actually bought them precooked from Trader Joes. If you want to use dry, try adding them to the broth (add an extra cup and a half of broth for 1 cup dried lentils) the with the carrots and let them simmer covered for about 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes. Taste them about 20 minutes in and then again at 30 minutes to make sure you don’t overcook them. Hope that helps!

Please explain how you prepare the lentils – I have not had much luck cooking them and love, love lentil soup. Your recipe sounds wonderful.
