Hubby is sick, so I went looking for a chicken noodle soup recipe this morning. Found this one, had all the ingredients in the house and started it about 10am. I no sooner start cooking the chicken/garlic/butter mixture than I hear, “Mom, can I have some of the chicken?” Ugh, there went some of my chicken. LOL! Happily, I had more in the freezer. Soup is now finished, house smells amazing and hubby will have soup for dinner before he leaves for work tonight. Thank you for such an easy and great recipe!!!

Note: to the review that made it too salty. Did you use low sodium chicken broth? If you used regular it will be too salty. That is why I always use lower sodium so I can add in to my taste. G ives me more control of the outcome.

This was a very good recipe! It was a smidge on the salty side for our taste, but, other than that it was a spot on wonderful recipe!

This was a fantastic recipe!! The only reason I gave it 4 gloves instead of 5 is it was a little on the salty side. Other than that it was a fantastic tasting soup!

This was a great recipe. I loved cooking the chicken in the garlic, it made it go for a different flavor. The whole family loved it!

All five of us loved this soup! That is saying something when my 12 year old gets “headaches” from chicken soup?!! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

My mom usually makes our family Chicken Noodle Soup so I don’t get a chance to make it often. I searched the site and thought this recipe was the easiest as I had most ingredients on hand. My husband came through the kitchen and said the smell of the garlic and chicken made his senses “pop!” The soup was very delicious and it will be my go to recipe!
