I did add Italian sausage for the flavor and extra meat but it would have been just as good without that. It was yummy and filling.

I don’t think it really needs the potatoes since it had pasta too. Next time I might substitute mushrooms for the potatoes instead. I would also be good with ground turkey italian sausage.
