this is basically the recipe I use. Only difference is I actually put about 1/4 of the package of the cooked bacon in with the potatoes to cook-as well as add some sage. just adds some additional flavor. Always get rave reviews. Thanks for posting!

LOVED this!!!! I forgot to put it all together early so I ended up doing it on the stove instead. My family loved it. Thank you for the recipe! It will be going in my “keeper” file!

This was so good! My family loved it and my husband asked that it be made on a regular, rotating basis. The only change I made for my family’s taste was to use 1/2 teaspoon of salt, instead of 1 teaspoon, and less pepper than called for. It was perfect! I also used pre-cooked bacon to save the step of cooking bacon.
