I only had jalapenos in the house so used that rather than serrano and used 2 beers rather than one.

I started “tasting” them at about an hour because the smell was making me crazy hungry. My husband loved them and had two servings. My daughter, who does not like beans was even enticed to have a serving, which she liked. I only used 2 serrano peppers and was hoping to have leftovers for my mother in law, but two peppers was spicy. I think four would have been way to much for our tastes.
