		<description><![CDATA[Hi kkd555 - the basil oil takes it to &quot;the next level&quot; so to speak, but you can certainly do without.  I like your idea of adding pesto.  A few fresh basil leaves would be nice too.  To me, there&#039;s a huge flavor difference between fresh and dried basil, so having a little of each flavor works really well in this soup.
