I don’t have a stick blender, or any blender. so I used a potato masher. unable to achieve the correct consistency. results were underwhelming and I just wonder if the right consistency would have been better. not a lot of flavor but still good. and I’m sure if I had time to let it chill and reheat, the flavor would become more complex. but it’s time for dinner lol. either way I’m enjoying it, thank you for it.

I don’t know if it changed the taste at all but I won’t know that unless I get a little less lazy and cook it by the directions
