I did substitute the turnips for potatoes because I had potatoes on hand, the rest of the recipe I made exactly and had such a lovely aroma and taste. I will definitely be making this again.

I passed this recipe on to my dad and brother, both are hunters and my brother is the one that fills my freezer every year with venison.
