The taste of this will vary greatly, of course, depending on what type and brand of salsa you choose. After taste-testing the soup before serving, I found ours to be “too salsa-y”, and added another can of black beans. It turned out beautifully! Served with sour cream and shredded cheese, even my pickiest eater allowed that “it tasted pretty good”. We will be making this again!
