I made this yesterday and it was delicious. I used russet potatoes since that was what I had on hand and increased the meat & water just a bit. Will definitely put this one in my recipe box!

Great recipe. My husband and I both loved it. I will definitely be making it again and again.
The only thing I did different was add celery (my Mom always put celery in her stew) and I also added green pepper(I just happened to have it on hand)
