So did my husband Im not really crazy about really thick soup, but this was right in the middle, perfect consistency for me. Great flavor. I did add some sharp cheddar at the end but it still would have been great without the addition of cheese. Thanks for the great recipe!

I added 5 or 6 chopped carrots to the celery, onion mixture when sauteeing, to soften.
Will definitely make again! The kids liked it too!
