Can NOT get enough of this dish! We serve it with grilled chicken, fish etc. My husband and I have to fight each other for seconds every time!

Tried this again without the lemon and with sauteed garlic, plus a small amount of sea salt and black pepper.

The only problem I had with this recipe was that I didn’t double it to start with! I did add a little salt.
This was my first experience with leeks – why did I wait 60 years? This would be great with ham, BBQ, fish. Just a fresh tasting, light dish that is delicious.

I loved this dish. I liked the lemon and my cream didn’t taste sour at all. I think this would be even more divine with fresh corn when it comes into season. This is a keeper and I will make again! I had two servings one with pepper and one without. The pepper took away from all of the other flavors, I enjoyed the second serving much more. It did need some salt, but one can always add that later.

This was super easy to do, but really lacks in the flavor department. Without any salt, pepper or other seasoning, the lemon makes the cream taste like sour milk. It was better after adding some various seasonings, but the faint flavor of sour milk remained.

Gave two mitts instead of one because of the leeks. This is a yummy, but underused, ingredient.
