I’d never tried to make baked beans before and wanted to actually MAKE them rather than open a few cans of pork ‘n beans. This was the recipe I settled on and it was marvelous. I had to use root beer instead of beer beer and so cut the amount of sugar in half, but otherwise kept to the recipe. Everyone liked them and there was very little left in the dish at the end of the night. Very good flavor. I’m definitely keeping this one. Thanks!
