The perfect combo between sweet and salty! I didn’t think it could get better than fresh green beans from the garden, but with this recipe it did. If you use fresh beans, just boil them till tender and pick up with the recipe as if they’re canned.

We make a very similar recipe in our family. Our difference is we don’t marinate – we use fresh or frozen long/whole green beans, blanch the beans, wrap them in bacon, cook them. About 5 min before they come out of the oven I put a “plop” of Durkee’s Mustard on each one. DELICIOUS! Link for Durkees is here – http://www.durkee.com/homeuse/spices-famous-sauce.php

No matter how you do them, you can never go wrong with bacon and green beans! YUM!
