Trish,
I'm so sorry I didn't respond sooner to your question!
Obviously, the raspberry chipotle sauce is key, since it gives the beans a slight sweet taste, with a kick. Be sure to look in the marinade and bbq sauce sections at your grocery store. Wal-Mart even carries a couple brands, but I will say it can be tricky to spot on the shelves, sometimes.

Also, I normally just purchase generic brand pinto beans--no need to spend a lot, since you'll be adding all the yummy ingredients.
But, the other night, I made a regular pot of pinto beans (you know, with a ham bone) and cornbread. We had beans leftover, so I just followed my recipe, above, but used the "from scratch" beans. Oh. My. It was even better, if possible!

Either way, these beans are really tasty! Enjoy!

What do you suggest to do if I can't find raspberry chipotle sauce, which is highly possible in my area?

Thanks!
