I julienne the zucchini, but instead of sauteeing it with the olive oil, I just place it in the colander and pour the cooked pasta and water right on top of it. It warms it, but leaves it a very nice tender crisp consistency. After it drains for a few minutes, I add the pasta and zuchinni into the olive oil mixture and toss. It’s fantastic and easy.
