My family ate them up. I didn’t have buttermilk, but used half and half. I used more liquid than it called for, but I had it warming in the oven for a bit before dinner, so I added more liquid before I served it.

I made them the other night to go with my T-Bones! I did let them set for a few minutes while I was tending to the steaks on the grill and when I checked them they seemed to need more liquid. So before I served them I added some more buttermilk (actually milk and lemon juice!) and they were just fine!
