Tackled these last night. They were AWESOME, and surprisingly easy. I was almost scared off by the boiling part, but it was easy enough, and worked well. By far the best oven fries ever made in my house; from scratch or from freezer bag (Oreida, etc). I added some seasoned salt and baked a bit longer to make them crunchy. Good stuff!

I made these tonight - very tasty! I would definitely recommend removing the skins - I didn't, and they are not as yummy as on "fried" fries. I also cooked them for 30 minutes - next time I will probably only go 20. Make sure your strips are uniform in size.

I will make these again - thanks for sharing!!

I made these this weekend and OMWord!! They were so yummy. Putting the fries back in the pot to evaporate the water was a brilliant suggestion. It made for such a nice crispy fry.

I didn't add any pepper b/c I don't usually like it on fries but I did do salt and Lawry's Season Salt and it was a hit!

Hi, Shoheiyun.

Your potatoes sound good.
I checked a conversion chart to see what temperature to use for us Fahrenheit cooks.
220 degrees Celsius is 428 degrees Fahrenheit.
That's a hot oven!
I will try your fries.
