The instructions don’t say anything about cleaning the grits. I am cooking grits for the first time and am confused as to clean them or put them in dry.

So savory and yummy. I cut the recipe in half since I didn’t 12 servings…although my husband and I could probably eat all 12 servings ourselves

My husband refuses to eat grits and he loves these. He was just hugging the recipe this afternoon. They are so savory and creamy. Perfect with chicken or pork chops.

Great recipe! I used whole milk instead of cream since that’s what I had on hand…still turned out creamy and delish! This recipe definitely make several servings, but my husband assured me that the leftovers would not be a problem.

A million times, yes! I made the whole meal and the pork chops were great, but I found myself thinking about grits leftovers all day while at work. Unfortunately, I had to use instant grits. If “real” grits are really that much better… then I don’t know if I could handle real grits, because my cop-out preparation of this recipe was almost too good.

The kids and I loved these, the husband said they weren’t worth the calories. It made a ton, way too much for my little family of 5. I froze half of it, we’ll see how it reheats. If the husband would’ve liked these more I’d say I would make these often.

These were fantastic! Sadly, I had to use regular grits, but they were still wonderful. Seved them with the Pork Chops with Apples and our meal was great. Will make these again and again!
