Excellent as a veggie dip! I used the ingredients through the fresh dill. Since I wanted it for a dip, not dressing, I only added about 1T of half and half to not make it too thin. Also, I used scallions instead of chives, added about 1t of Worcestershire and 1t white vinegar, and lots of dried dill because we love dill.

I don't think many Australians really know or appreciate ranch dressing. I love it, and I love this recipe. Turns any leftover salad items into a meal, add a hard boiled, and some croutons, and it's a gorgeous dish. Thank you Ree!

This is a great recipe. I really like how highly adaptable it is; you can really play around with the flavors. I used 1/2 cup regular milk, and I found the dressing a little too thin; it didn't stick to the lettuce. Next time I'll use less milk or buttermilk.

That shaking idea is genius! I've been making things for awhile and I've saved money from buying bottled dressings and enjoyed my salads (and anything dip-able) 100% more!

This was so good. I used my fresh garden herbs for the parsley, dill, chives, and oregano and the taste was so zingy, I couldn't wait for the salad and just grabbed carrot sticks and started dipping! It's easy to make too! I put the ingredients in a quart Mason jar and just shook! I used 2 tsp. of garlic and thought that was plenty. Love this stuff.

So good! Although next time I'll definitely just stick with one clove of garlic. Even 1 1/2 was just too much for me.
