I give this 5 mitts as it’s pretty tasty for a macaroni salad. And different in that it has some bacon for flavor…I made this the night before our 4th of July event, and the flavors had a chance to blend in.

Yeah! Finally a macaroni salad that has bacon, tomatoes and green onions. All the other usual mac salads have the same old same in them…..bell pepper..onion…celery and mayo. Making this for tomorrow festivities!

We really enjoyed this recipe. I did add more tomatoes and bacon when I made it but this is a great base for a pasta salad, you can really be creative and add anything you like. The dressing that goes over it is mild so the flavors of the onion and bacon really come out.

I made this last night, but didn’t have green onions so I used a little celery and a little sweet onion. I also added some chicken and 2 tsp of sugar to the mayo – it was very yummy!!!!

I have a very similar recipe and have used it many times! Very tasty, indeed!
