Very tasty, and a nice change from regular ol' sloppy joes! I like things a little spicy though, so I added a generous sprinkling of red pepper flakes and a chopped up jalepeno before cooking. Also, I may use ketchup next time instead of the tomato sauce/paste...more convenient, and may add a little "tang" too! Served mine on onion rolls with some homemade mac and cheese and a tomato/cucumber salad. Yum!!

I have an affinity to the salty/sweet combination of bacon and pineapple, and for sloppy joes. I will be making these really soon. I like using my slow cooker for sloppy joes and I will add the pineapple at the every end so it heats through but not break down.
