This was very good. I used fresh chopped garlic and instead of onion powder, put thick slices of an onion on the bottom of the crockpot. They cooked into the sauce deliciously! Also added my favorite New Mexico HOT red chile powder for a kick. Thanks, I will make this again.

You should really make a note that the sauce needs to be degreased before adding the beef back. I used a 3 lb roast and there was quite a bit. It was easy to skim out after letting it sit for an hour or so.

This was delicious, and easy. I used a chuck roast and added a little cayenne pepper. My favorite BBQ sauce is Sweet Baby Ray's, so that's what I used. Tastes great, and everyone I've made it for thinks so too!

We really liked this. I used a chuck roast, less than 4 pounds, and it turned out great. The only change I made was to add a half-can of chipotle sauce that was leftover from another recipe, just to give it some zing. Very moist, very tender, just what you want out of a crock-pot recipe.
