I didn’t have salsa verde so just mashed up avocado, cilantro, and a little lime juice for the topping. I’ll try it next time as written but it was delicious even without – loved the ‘breading’ and a great use for the end of a bag of tortilla chips!

to the salsa verde I added a habanero pepper (I like hot!) and about 4 cloves of garlic. Came out delicious!
