Tried this for dinner tonight but I have to say this is SUPER salty. WAY too salty. I like salt, but the sauce is basically like drinking soy sauce, even after I tasted it and tried to sweeten it a bit by adding several tablespoons of brown sugar and some hoisin sauce.

I would not make this again without serious changes to the amount of soy sauce in the recipe.

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because, for my family, the reduced sauce was just too intense and salty. I think next time–and there WILL be a next time–I’ll add a tsp or so of brown sugar and not reduce it quite so far.
