This was good because it allowed me to put a TON of toppings (lettuce, tomato, onioin, salsa, sour cream) on top of my serving...which is how I like my tacos, but they limit my topping load...this doesn't...I followed the recipe exactly...my pie crust should have been cooked for about 15 minutes before I put the beans in....it was still a little limp and soggy when it finished baking. Also I would drain and rinse the meat in the future...because baking it really brought more fat out of it and it kind of pooled around....I think a good rinse would help this. My 2 year old loved it and I think its something my husband would like as well!

I cooked this tonight. I made 3 modifications. I added about 1/2 c corn into my meat mixture; I used drained chili beans instead of refried; and I put some fresh diced bell pepper in the bean layer.

It was very good and a great Super Bowl meal!
