I’ve been using this recipe for years. I originally found it when I was looking for a ribs recipe to enter a neighborhood ribs competition. These ribs ended up being voted as the best! Even beating out several which had been tended to for hours on the grill. I had never even made ribs before. Suffice it to say this has been my recipe since. These are easy to do and delicious!

I’ve tried so many rib recipes, from the simple to the complicated, and this is the one my family loves. Other rubs are too spicy, especially for kids, but not this one. We don’t like Sweet Baby Ray’s, but that is the ONLY change I make – I use the exact rub in the recipe, and simply brush on a different BBQ sauce. It’s so simple that if I could give it 6 stars, I would!

It was my first time making ribs as well and these were amazing!!!!! Super easy, SUPER yummy!! I am NOT a rib fan and I stood over the sink eating 3 of them. Definitely gonna do these again!

The teen wanted some ribs, so I gave him this recipe and told him to make it. He decided the sugar mixture was too much for the 4 lbs meat and did not use it all, and this came out absolutely FABulous. We actually left some of the ribs without the BBQ sauce since it was so good just with the rub. I will probably put it on baking sheet next time as the juices made a mess when we tried to take the foil-wrapped ribs out.

Wonderful wonderful, thank you! My husband is a big ribs fan (so am I, actually) and we have tried ribs in many restaurants trying to find the best ones. Your recipe is phenomenal! Delicious, tender, and really easy. I only loosely followed the measurements for the rub, and we used a different sauce, but the important part is that the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender. I’ve made it three times now in the last few weeks and haven’t needed anything but my fork every time. One time, I cooked them an extra hour, and they were falling off the bone so well that I had a hard time flipping them to broil the other side. Wow, I am so excited that now I can make some of the best ribs we’ve ever had. Now that I see how easy it is, I wonder why so many restaurants are serving tough, chewy ribs!

Delicious, although next time I will reduce the pepper only because we are not big pepper people, but otherwise, very yummy!
