It cooked on low for 10 hours and I think that was too long as the chicken itself was kinda dry and once you got past the skin the spices didn’t penetrate. Loved the spice combination and will definitely try again for less time and will do a better job of getting the spices under the skin. If I can master the crockpot timing, this will be a go to dish as it’s so quick, easy and nothing fancy in the ingredient list. Thanks!

Sent the recipe to my daughter and college son and we all have fixed it! Great recipe – we all stocked up on chickens after making this. Very versatile as well – -just change the herbs and you have a different flabvor!
