Very good and incredibly fast - the hands-on time getting it in the oven is under 5 minutes. I only had a 7.5 ounce can of chipotle in adobo so that's what I used. It was just enough to add nice smoky flavor and a gentle heat, but not too much heat (my heat-hating daughters gobbled it up). Next time I make this, I think I'll add a few cloves of garlic to the pot (we love our garlic). PS - Just before serving, I strained the fat from juices and removed large globs of fat from the shredded pork.

I watched Ree make this on TV and just had to try it! Oh, heavenly days, this was soooo good, and so easy to make! I was having a very rushed day, so I threw it in a roaster and then into the oven; didn't have time to turn it even once, and ended up cooking it for about 8 hours....wow, wow, wow!!! I had plenty for the freezer, and it was wonderful as a main dish with sides. Next we plan to have it on a sandwich with slaw, and maybe Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, which is just the best, and not hard to find in Texas. This is just an amazing recipe the whole family and all our friends will love!!

Easy recipe...and very tasty! We only used 1/2 can of peppers and it was perfect for our family. I also put all into the crock pot and cooked on high for 6 hours. Perfection!

We love this recipe. I have made twice. The first time I used one can of chipotle. It was great, but somehow with the Dr. P and whatever magic the spice was quite fine. Second batch, I used a 1 and 1/2 cans and it was perfect for us. We do like spice here! Making again tomorrow, think I might add to a tamale type cassarole with corn bread or polenta…
